Taiwan to the Toon
We had some visitors to the studio from Taiwan recently. The group of young designers came to see us talk about our work and learn about art and design practices in the UK. They were interested in learning about Identity, Inspiration and Transformation, so Zoe and I talked about the approaches to our individual practices, our training and career paths and how our work has changed and developed through the years.
The visitors also had a go at making their own mini glasswork to take away.
It was an interesting day and we are hoping to continue the connection, perhaps to travel across to Taiwan for a return visit...
